Enrol TodayDesigned in line with AMC20-22 requirements for “qualified staff performing EWIS maintenance” and “maintenance inspection” (Avionics and B2 LAE), Bostonair’s EWIS Group 1 & 2 training course delves into specific areas of EWIS maintenance: focusing on troubleshooting, inspection, and repair procedures. Participants will learn to identify and rectify wiring issues efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and safety of aircraft systems; explore cutting-edge practices and trends, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to address future challenges in aircraft electrical systems.
Target at personnel described in AMC20-22 as “qualified staff performing general maintenance and inspection not involving wire maintenance” and “qualified staff performing other engineering or inspection work on in-service aircraft” our EWIS Group 4 & 5 training course covers fundamental principles, regulations, and safety practices related to electrical wiring interconnection systems in aircraft. Participants will gain a broad understanding of EWIS in aircraft, and investigate the general cleaning and inspection techniques for their role in aircraft maintenance.
Designed for staff working in proximity to EWIS, our EWIS Group 6 training course provides basic insights into EWIS design and installations; focusing on the safety procedures; potential contamination sources; and cleaning processes around EWIS.
Similar to EWIS Group 6, the EWIS Group 7 training course focuses more on regulatory compliance of safe working practices around aircraft electrical systems, and how to prevent deterioration of existing installations. EWIS Group 7 is defined as being for Flight Deck Crew only.
The separate EWIS Group 8 course covers the same topics as EWIS 7 however is designed for Cabin Crew Personnel.
