Ground Handling Auditor – China

Bostonair is seeking an experienced Ground Handling Auditor to support aviation safety, compliance and operational assurance activities across China and East Asia.

This opportunity would suit a qualified auditor with a strong background in ground handling operations who can work confidently in both Chinese and English. The successful candidate will carry out professional, independent audits, identify operational risks and support customers in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and performance.

The Role:

As a Ground Handling Auditor, you will assess ground handling activities against applicable regulatory, industry and customer requirements. You will work with operational teams and stakeholders to review procedures, identify areas of risk or non-compliance and provide clear, practical recommendations.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Planning and conducting ground handling audits
• Reviewing operational procedures, records and supporting documentation
• Assessing compliance with applicable aviation standards and customer requirements
• Identifying findings, risks and opportunities for improvement
• Producing clear, accurate and professional audit reports
• Communicating findings effectively with operational teams and senior stakeholders
• Supporting corrective action planning and follow-up activities
• Travelling to customer or operational locations when required

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate should:

• Be fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
• Be based in China
• Hold a recognised auditor qualification
• Have previous experience within ground handling operations
• Be confident conducting audits and engaging with operational stakeholders
• Have strong report-writing, communication and analytical skills
• Be able to work independently and manage assignments professionally

Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous, although it is not essential:

• Safety Management Systems
• Root Cause Analysis
• Human Factors
• Aviation safety, quality or compliance management
• Corrective action and risk management processes
