Description:
Bostonair GmbH is looking for Aircraft Mechanics (Manufacturing Technology) for a 4 month contract – with possible extension.
- This position is based in Wessling, Germany
- To start mid/end of November
- 4 months with possible extension
- 40 hours per week
- Mon-Fri, Saturday shifts as needed
- Accommodation paid
- Monthly public transportation ticket
- Flights to/from assignment paid
Requirements:
- Candidates MUST have the right to work in Germany
- Candidates MUST hold a current ZUP (German Security Clearance)
- Completed training as an aircraft mechanic – specialising in production engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction
- Desirable experience on the Do 328 aircraft
- Knowledge of English
Tasks:
- Carrying out jig-related activities
- Carrying out fitting work in accordance with construction documents
- Manufacture of individual metal parts
- Subassembly assembly
- Repair of control surfaces, corrosion
- General structural work on metal and fibre composite components
- Carrying out repair work
- Participation in maintenance and refurbishment measures
- Conversion of jet support structure in prop. Support structure / air research project for hybrid propulsion system
- Processing of work orders, job cards, job orders
