Julie Fierro

From beginning her career straight out of school at Monarch Airlines, Julie Fierro rapidly advanced through the company. After project managing a £4 million project, Julie became the company’s Operations Business Improvement Manager – until the airline closed down in October 2017, she commented

“I always say that operations are the heart of an airline, and sometimes you have to rip it out and put a new one in. “

Julie engaged in Aviation Consultancy when Monarch closed down, taking full advantage of the many opportunities and experiences she’d acquired throughout her career. Now, specialising in software systems, programme/project management, fatigue risk management, human factors, auditing, risk and impact analysis, resources and budgets, Julie is keen for more airlines to utilise these skills to make a real difference to their businesses.

Over the past year, Julie has worked alongside multiple airlines, sharing knowledge from other areas of the industry, suggesting different ways of working and encouraging clients to think outside the box and move with the time and by doing so, saving them significant amounts of time and money.
