BFAST by Bostonair:

Case Study

One of our major client’s Boeing 777 was diverted to Prague after a cracked left-hand windshield, leaving the aircraft AOG and requiring urgent recovery to minimise operational disruption.

Solution

Bostonair received the AOG request at 17:15 and immediately mobilised its response. Two qualified B777 engineers were deployed the same evening, with parts logistics arranged from Leipzig. Airport access, local support and GSE were coordinated, and a two-shift, nose-to-tail working pattern was implemented. The LH windshield replacement was completed alongside additional work following oxygen system use.

Outcome

Through Bostonair’s ability to deliver fast, well-coordinated AOG support through experienced engineers and effective operational management, the aircraft returned to service quickly, departing Prague for Leipzig at 16:00 the following day.

Bostonair & Condor

Bostonair provided Condor with support at short notice to oversee and supply assistance to repair a tank leak – our partners, A-FAST delivered the service on the A320 aircraft and Bostonair provided 1 x B1 engineer type rated on A320 to provide certification for work carried out. The support took place on 7/8 October 2023
