Course Description

This online training provides essential knowledge on Human Factors (HF) in aviation maintenance and operations, ensuring compliance in line with EASA and UK CAA regulations under Part-145, Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-21. Human Factors plays a crucial role in aviation safety, efficiency, and error reduction.
This course explores how human performance, limitations, and behaviours impact aviation tasks, helping individuals and organisations enhance safety culture, improve communication, and reduce maintenance errors. EASA ED Decision 2022/011/R and UK CAA ORS 9 Decision No 38 introduces Module 1a - Safety Risk Management, which means this course must be completed in conjunction with a separate Safety Management certificate to ensure compliance to 145.A.30(e)

This course serves as an acceptable means of compliance with:
  • EASA & UK CAA Part-145.A.30(e) – Human Factors Training for Maintenance Personnel
